The Terminator

The moon has romance as well as science. In this astrophotograph, the line where the sun's reflection meets the dark side of the moon is known as the "terminator". Copernicus is clearly seen as well as the Apennine Mountains.

Photo taken with Nikon Coolpix held to 12.5mm Plossl eyepiece in 8 inch reflector.

Wow, this is an amazing photograph! Is it possible to take a photograph of "the line where the sun's reflection meets the dark side of the moon...known as the 'terminator.'" I would love to see that...this is an amazing photograph!
