The Rising Solar System

On June 21, 2009 any early-riser could see an amazing grouping of many celestial bodies including the moon, venus, mercury, mars, and the pleadies (M45). I was lucky enough to spot this amazing grouping as I was walking to my cabin, after a long night of astroimaging. I set-up my camera and tripod as fast as I could and took this amazing photo. Even though the moon will not be in the same spot of the sky you can still view this grouping and many more in the early pre-dawn hours.
