I had never seen noctilucent clouds before and the night after my first observation, I decided to try and image them.
I took a series of images with a Kodak DX7630 digital compact camera on a tripod set at ISO 400 with 1.5 second exposures.
I then joined the images in Photoshop to create the panorama.
I am really happy with the end result as this was my first attempt ever, at imaging NLC's.
The panorama really sets the scene and is especially nice with the early morning moon rising in the right of the picture.
