M57 The Ring Nebula in the constellation of Lyra


Messier 57 The Ring Nebula is located in the constellation of Lyra was discovered by Antoine Darquier de Pellepoix in 1779. M57 was the second planetary nebula to be discovered, the first was M27.

Hi Tony:

Very nice job processing the SSON data!

BTW the Sierra Stars Observatory telescope is not an RCOS. It is a 24-inch OMI telescope. (Just so people are aware of what an awesome telescope it actualy is. :0)
