Pine Tree Trails

I took this long expousure in 14 December 2009 In the middle of a pine forest, in a field, near the Atlantic Ocean,Fonte-da-Telha,Portugal.To record the motion of the stars in the region of Celestial Equator, I registered with my Canon 400D, 175 images, each one of 30 seconds exposure, with an aperture F-4 ISO 800 with a Sigma HSM EX 10mm lens. Later,I combined them all manually,in Photoshop CS3 to produce a single image with the path of each star. The photographs are a total exposure time of 87.5 minutes, having started at 2:51 AM and ended at 4:27 AM.We can enjoy the Path of the planet Mars, as also the Regulus Star, Castor, Pollux, M45 The Pleiades, several stars like Sirius, Betelgeuse and Rigel, and even the Orion Nebula M42. The image was took in the Peake of Geminids, so we also can see many litle meteors, one of them near Sirius path. In the center of the image is a pine tree.
