One of my first images with my new CLS filter on my Canon 3250d. I'm pleased with the filter, but still need some tweaks on my autoguiding. I was also trying out Craig Stark's PHD Guider software, so I still have things to learn with that.
Image details:
Scope: 12" Meade LX200 at f/6.3
Camera: Canon 350D (modified)
Exposures: 15 total, ISO 800 between 3 seconds up to 3 minutes (to keep some Trapezium details)
Guiding: Orion 80ED, Meade DSI, PHD Guiding
Stacking: Images Plus

Thanks for the comments, and the honor of being the pic of the day!
That was just a 'first light' test image with the new CLS filter I just got. Also tried out PHD Guding for the first time so my stars are slightly off, but it looks pretty if you don't look too close!
As usual, I'm my own worst critic.
I'm hoping for clear nights, so I can do a large mosaic of this area.
