Ngc 5128 Centaurus A


Centaurus A is a lenticular galaxy located 11 Million light years away and is part of the local group. This galaxy is one of the closest radio galaxies to our milky way and its active galactic nucleus has been extensively studied by Astronomers on earth. The Dust lane in this galaxy may have been created in a collision two smaller galaxies.
