M81 & M82


These wonderful Galaxies were captured on the weekend in the presence of a 1/4 moon!...
The amazing thing i found is that you can see so much detail!. I wasn't expecting that....considering the average seeing and the light of the moon to boot!
It was a cold night here in Ontario on Saturday night...but the results were well worth the near "frostbite"....lol..

William Optics FLT 132
NEQ6 Pro Mount
Autoguided with QHY5 autoguider
Camera - Canon XSi modified

33 - 500 second exposures and associated dark, flat and bias frames
Processed using Images Plus and Photoshop CS3
