Sunspots 1057 & 1059


I took this photo with my Solarscope and Canon 1000D. The sunspots 1057 and 1059 (near the limb) stand out quite nicely. The image is horizontally and vertically flipped because of the optical system lens-mirror of the Solarscope. The original image is seen in white light, but I managed (on Gimp) to decrease the blue and green channels and increase the red one a little bit to give this color to the solar disk. The Sun is waking up with activity...
