M13 - A Globular Cluster in Hercules


Data collected with a 10 inch RCOS Ritchey Chretien on an AP1200GTO from my backyard Observatory using an SBIG ST10XE, CFW10, AO8 plus water assisted cooling.20 x 300s each, Luminance, Red, Green and Blue. Luminance Binned 1x, Color Data Binned 2x. Sub exposures calibrated, aligned and stacked in CCDStack. CCDStack was used to combine the RGB, and then the Color Data and Luminance was brought into Photoshop for a final combine.

Effective Focal Length 2292.4 mm ~ .61" per Pixel

Nicely processed. Hard to believe this was taken from an urban location with only 10" of aperture.
