August 28 2010 Venus in false color

This image consists of the addition of two images: one in the near infrared channel (that shows some deep levels in the atmosphere) and another one in the near ultraviolet channel (that shows some high level clouds). Newtonian 10" f/6 equatorial and SkyNyx 2-0M camera - Astronomik Planet IR Pro 807 and Astrodon UVenus filters.
