 January 20 2011  Blessed Planetary Conjunction |

Inspired by the Easter Sunday, I found this old house empty, with a privileged view over the Christ the King monument, that seems to bless the great planetary conjunction that occurred between Venus and Mercury, a planet difficult to spot. In the picture, I show up to watch this beautiful moment, from Almada, Portugal.
Cristo-Rei (English: Christ the King) is a Catholic monument of Jesus Christ overlooking the city of Lisbon, Portugal. It was inspired by the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and inaugurated on 17 May 1959.
