Full Moon over the Chapel of Pragal



This image was taken in this Weekend, 04 October 2009, when the Moon as well known as the "Harvest Moon". The image shows the Full Moon near the Chapel of Pragal, in Almada, built in the XVIII century with a Baroque style. This type of image with the full moon at an altitude of 14ยบ, is difficult to obtain due to the intense brightness of the Moon, previously I had to study the brightness of the place, and enjoy the right time to shoot, which happened with the appearance of a slight haze that allowed the light of the moon to stay with almost the same intensity of the chapel?s illumination. I was about 100 meters away from it. I used a Sigma Telephoto zoom APO lens, set to 238mm.
