ISS between Big Dipper and Ursa Minor


In this picture we can see the ISS path near the Merak star of the Big Dipper
constellation, and also the Ursa Minor constellation with the Polaris Star well
visible.In this image we can enjoy the deep blue light(the end of the day) mixed
with the dark night high in the sky and some trees. The image was taken in Vila Boim, Alentejo, 200km from Lisbon- Portugal at 21h52 in 21-07-08.

The ISS was a magnitude of -0.7 , Max. altitude 37º, azimuth: Az.-327º (NNW) and with a distance of 550Km. I take the picture with a Canon 400D - ISO 200 F-4 - Exp: 65" - 18mm at 21h52 in 21-07-08 based on the predictions of heavens-above.
