I captured this image of Orion rising over a snowy farmyard lane during the winter. When ever I see Orion in the evening sky, I always feel like Christmas is not far away. I wanted to catch that feeling photographically. Last week clear skies were proceeded by a period of heavy snow and frost so I wrapped up warmly and got my camera out!
