Iris in dusty soil!

The Iris reflection nebula shines with blue light scattered within its gas and dust. The same dust reddens the outlying stars lending them a lovely golden colour. Being faint the dust needs many hours to capture with a good signal to noise ratio so this had 12 hours over several nights using an Altair Astro 115mm refractor and Atik CCD cameras.
